I am an Assistant Professor of Accounting at IE Business School, joining in the summer of 2024.
My research lies at the intersection of labour economics, corporate governance, emerging technologies, and Environemntal, Social, and Governance (ESG) issues, with a particular focus on Social.
Prior to coming to IE, I received a Ph.D. from Yale University in 2024.
Please feel free to contact me if you would like to present at the Gender & Diversity Workshop Series, an interdisciplinary study group I started at IE University.
I have lived in Europe, North America, and Asia, and am native in four languages. I have spent most of my life learning how to relate to new communities and cultures. The skills I gained whilst learning to adapt to new environments have proven to be incredibly useful in bridge-building across various academic disciplines.
In my spare time, I am passionate about racquet sports, pub quizzes, karaoke, Taskmaster, and amateur stand-up comedy. I have embarrassingly performed at open mic nights before.
As a language enthusiast, I am on a mission to expand my repertoire by improving my proficiency in Welsh and British Sign Language.
